How to find your computer name in Windows 10

Finding the device name of a Windows computer

As part of ongoing support, you may be asked what your computer name is to assist the IT team.

In the search bar, at the bottom of the screen, type Computer Name:


Click on the view your PC name system setting.


Copy and paste the Device Name into communication with the IT team, then they can assist with the specific device that you have identified.
